Interesting that it took someone from Europe to remind us all of the
passing of the old drone.  His writings are still found at places like
beesource.com <http://www.beesource.com/pov/andy/index.htm>, so he is still
virtually there, but his domain name http://beenet.com/  that I discussed
in my Bee Culture column
<http://bee.airoot.com/beeculture/digital/1999/column15.htm> has become
some kind of a server.  I was glad to be able to visit with him a year
before he died.
