Some years ago a company (I think it was a cereal manufacturer) used the
finale of Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto in one of their commercials,
accompanying a voice-over describing a "symphony of flavors". I thought
it regrettable that they couldn't even get the musical form correct, but
perhaps it was a wise decision on their part. Somehow "a piano concerto
of flavors" would not have sounded as effective.
