My own impression of this set was that it was not terribly good.
Rather uncharacterized. But then I'm one of the people who LIKES
Dohnanyi/Cleveland, so that might tell you something. I also liked
the old Masur/Leipzig Gewandhaus set; I have no idea if it's on CD.
