I have the same box and of the two performances I like Das Lied better,
although the symphony is also good. The symphony is the same performance
released on Audite 95.471, recorded in Tokyo on 4 June 1975. The Audite
issue has better sound and comes from the original NHK master tapes (I
believe the Originals issue comes from a broadcast). I am almost certain
that Audite will release this performance of Das Lied as well (maybe they
have already?), but I have not yet seen it.
