It certainly deserves one.  These, on Epic LPs, were my first encounter
with the Schumann symphonies, and despite trying other versions over
the years, I think these are unsurpassed.  A couple of other examples:
Bernstein's DG accounts are immediately attractive but are not versions
to live with, IMO.  The Sawallisch performances on EMI, despite a slightly
diffuse acoustic, are very fine, and have the advantage of including
Overture, Scherzo and Finale.
