Subject: Thrush
In regard to the question about the patient who's having persistent =
thrush and can't afford
diflucan....
I've read about using grapefruit seed extract to treat and/or prevent =
yeast. Does anyone
have any experience with this?
Sally Myer RN, BSN
Hi Sally,
I just had a client use Dr. Jay Gordon's grapefruit seed extract to treat
her thrush. She is a naturopath and also chose to put acidophilus powder with
FOS on her nipple. It worked great!
Sincerely,
Kathleen Fallon Pasakarnis, M.Ed. IBCLC
