Ive read about a queen running out of sperm. Never gave it a lot of thought.
This is NOT the time of year to be queenless. Personally Id check again
very carefully and if still nothing, dispatch her and add a new frame of
eggs so they can whip up a new queen. But again thats a month of no new
eggs. At least the frame will give new workers.
I panicked this eairly spring when I had a non laying queen and dispatched
her for a replacement. I expect the new one to be laying now but cant check
in this horrid weather.
Others please?
