 Yes that was the first thing I thought of too.I have seen this many times
in the small baby nucs when catching queens that are just starting to
lay,especially if they get nervous and start to run.Last year I raised
around 40 Russians and it seemed every other one wanted to fly away during
catching!Invariably,they just fly around in a circle a few times then go
back in the nuc.
