Two very early ones: Mozart's 34th and Oboe Concerto - Davis's first
record, I think - and a sparkling collection of Mozart overtures. I'm
not sure whether either is still available. I first heard some of the
Mozart piano concertos from his versions with Ingrid Haebler and
particularly remember #19.
His CD of off-the-beaten-track Tchaikovsky ballet music is a perennial
favourite for me. My very favourite Davis recording is the Berlioz
Requiem.
