Bill excavated the site of a log cabin in southeastern Michigan a few
years ago. Imagine his surprise to find a concrete foundation! The log
cabin had been moved from its original location to what the
architectural survey had noted (from atlas and other historic
"evidence") as its "historic" location. Obviously not. After some
further research Bill found that it had been moved in the mid-20th
century and then found the actual log cabin, relocated yet again, in a
nearby historical park.
