I'm interested in what database programs are being used for
inventory/catalog/data analysis of archaeological materials.
I could write one myself using Access, but if there's a product already
designed for this purpose I don't feel a need to reinvent the wheel.
This is for a series of fairly small houselots (one currently, but more
in the future) with late 19th and lots of early 20th century materials.
I'm aware of Re:Discovery but it seems like it might be overkill (and
possibly over-expensive) for this project.
Any suggestions or opinions?
