D'oh.

The following sentence from the third paragraph of my previous far-to-long
post should have read as follows:

> importance of a broad international understanding of the Australian
> archaeological record, and thus act as an implicit argument against
> insularity - whatever the cause - and for a wider use of Australian data

Forgot to add those little Australian references.  Otherwise it looks like
I'm claiming that no one anywhere uses any type of international comparison,
which clearly isn't the case.
