For my money, Walter Klien's recordings of Brahms' piano music are
glorious, and remain the definitive performances. They were out of
print for many years, but now I see that the Tuxedo label, distributed
by Qualiton, has reissued them. I found the CD, along with a second
rare offering from Klien -- the piano music of Smetana -- available
from the Tower Records website.
