Arthur Rubinstein recorded just about everything that Chopin ever
wrote for the piano with one major exception, the Etudes Opus 10 and
25. Granted that he recorded Opus 1/4 and Op 25/5 (ee RCA's "The Chopin
Collection"). And granted that he also recorded the "Trois Noulvelles
Etudes." but how could he not have recorded the other twenty two erudes
that are such a bedrock of piano literature. I have wondered about this
question for years. Perhaps one of our members has the answer to this
all to obvious problem that I have.
