Marvin Gold inquired about the Schwann Catalog.

The Schwann Opus is dead. The last issue I have is Vol. 10, No. 4, 1999,
although there was a 21st issue of the Artist Issue, copyright 2001. I
fine it adequate for research purposes to keep one copy of the Schwann for
each year, along with one copy of each Artist Issue and the corresponding
issue of Schwann upon which it was based. The first Schwann issue was in
1949. Other valuable issues are those in which an entire catalog was
deleted, for instance, Westminster, as well as the supplementary catalogs
of imported and rare recordings, which circulated for a while.

Old issues can usually be purchased on Ebay, however, those from the 50s
tend to be more expensive.
