The English pianist Cyril Smith (1909-1974) suffered a thrombosis in 1957
as a result of which he lost the use of his left arm. With his pianist
wife Phyllis Sellick, he extended his career by playing concertos and
arrangements for three hands. I have an EMI LP of concertos by Arnold,
which was later released on CD, and by Bliss and Jacob which, AFAIK,
weren't.
