I am very new to beekeeping-- I have some unpainted hives, but I
won't get my first bees for a couple more months. Before I paint my
hives, I wanted to put a good primer-sealer on them to get them to
last longer. It was recommended that I use B-I-N Primer-Sealer
(made by "Zinsser"). My question: as long as I keep my priming,
sealing, and painting to the outside of the hive, does it matter what
I use? I'm asking this in regards to the bees... is there anything I
need to avoid using because it could be harmful to the bees?

Thank you.
