Music of The Americas Presents Pianist Adam Kent in Recital at the Americas
Society - Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 PM

The Americas Society Music of the Americas concert series is pleased to
present a recital by the renowned pianist Adam Kent on Thursday, April 11,
2002, 7:30 PM at the Americas Society, 680 Park Avenue, corner of Park
Avenue and 68th St. in Manhattan.

The program will include works by Montsalvage, Mompou, Copland, Chavez,
Tania Leon, Gottschalk, Villa-Lobos and others.

Adam Kent made his New York recital debut at Weill Hall in 1989 and has
been featured on radio stations WQXR and WFUV.  In recent seasons he has
appeared as soloist with the Juilliard Symphony at Alice Tully Hall, and
the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.  Adam Kent received a D.M.A.  from the
Juilliard School, where he studied with Jerome Lowenthal and served as an
adjunct professor.
