He is also not unknown in Australia...

I remember him especially for his Mendelssohn Piano Concertos, and the
Capriccio Brillant and Rondo Brillant (coupled with, I think, Liszt's
Totentanz), both on Decca Ace of Clubs and dating from the early days of
LP.  For a long time, his was the only available version of Tchaikovsky's
Concert Fantasy, with Rachmaninov's 1st Piano Concerto.
