I have hit a roadblock trying to find an article on Charles Wilfred Orr
(1893-1976) in whom I have a particular interest, and wonder whether
anybody out there knows of a collection of the periodical "Music and
Letters" that I might be able to draw on.

The reference is:

Northcote, Sydney
The Songs of C. W. Orr
Music and Letters Vol. 18, No. 4, 1937, pp355-359

An inquiry through the interlibrary loan system here in Gloucestershire
came up eventually with the answer there is a copy in the British Library
that is too fragile to loan or photocopy -- and I don't fancy going to
London specially to find that it's too fragile to read there, either!
So does anybody know of a specialist library open to the general public
that might have a copy I can request?

Thanks in advance.
