YMMV, of course, but whenever I hear a symphony by Brahms or Beethoven (or
Mozart or Schubert, for that matter), I notice some new source of beauty
or cause of delight which I did not notice the last time.  I hope I never
become the sort of jaded listener who when he hears the opening theme says,
"Ho-hum!  Been there, done that, got the T-shirt."
