Peter,
Wow. for handholding the macro lens, you got some remarkably good shots.
Depth of field is pretty small, it seems - one bee is fuzzy at front
and rear, in focus in the middle (or so it seems here).
I also started with the Olympus D600 (US version), then switched to
the 2500. I wanted the 2100, but was outvoted. Perhaps we'll have to
have two, one for the 10x zoom and image stabilization, the other
for manual control and better macro settings.
