The Willam Young & Sons Company in Trenton was known to manufacture the
swirled type doorknobs from 1854 to c.1860. Following the Civil War most
manufacturers of doorknobs in the city switched over to manufacturering
porcelain doorknobs.

doorknob I found on a site. The site

"Buckley-esque" in appearance,

condition but appears to be black and brown

like this would be greatly appreciated!
