The origins of china glaze/pearlware have been documented in an article
titled "How Creamware got the Blues: The Origins of China Glaze and
Pearlware" by George L. Miller and Robert Hunter in Ceramics in America,
published by Chipstone Foundation. This article has wonderful color plates
taken by Gavin Ashworth. The Journal is available from Amazon.com at a 30%
discount.
