I wonder if Mozarts interest was mathematics in general of if he had a
vorlieben for simply counting, what is a lexical talent, rather independent
from that logic thinking we usually measure IQ with.

Besides it is not too unusual that people who are obsessed with Gilles de
LaTourettes Syndrome loves counting, and are good at it.  Like they often
have a much better than average sence for rythm.
