a violin's range is from G3 to E7, possibly higher with the use of
harmonics, and with significantly more limitations above A6.  these numbers
are not the same as hertz, but G3 is approximately 198hz and E7 would be
approximately 2640hz.  this also my first post to the list, i believe,
so......hi everyone.  this discussion group is one of the most informative
that i've yet to find.
