Having read in Hooper about the use of the Snelgrove board, we decided
it sounded too complicated, and we've usually used the
2-hives-close-together method of artificial swarming, also described there,
with the swapping of hive positions. This has generally been successful,
even when boxes haven't been moved quite on cue. Of course, if you don't
have spare equipment, it's not so easy.
