For people who like that sort of thing, one of the live performances
which preceeded the recording of the Roussel is available from the private
issue PIB Records. There was a two two-CD release of live Bernstein
Material about three months ago which included the Roussel, the Irving
Fine Symphony and a hair-raising Mahler 6 on the first double, and the
Schoenberg Violin Concerto, Svi Zeitlin soloist and a Mahler Seven on
the second. Recordings date from 1961-1987, are all live and in very
good sound.
