This "version" is, I'm afraid, spurious: Furtwaengler fled Nazi Germany
for Switerland in February 1945, his last concerts with the BPO were in
the January and he didn't conduct them again until May 1947.
Research evidently needs to be done into exactly who might be at the helm
of this; one suggestion I've seen is Oswaldf Kabasta, whose wartime Dvorak
9 was also released as being by WF.
