The Myto derives from a second or third generation copy of the master
tape--an "unofficial" release.

The Calig is licensed directly from the Bavarian Radio, and the superb
analogue master tapes were given an equally superb transfer. This is
definitely the one to have. Amazon.com lists it for $72.97, currently
"out of stock".

When the Calig was first release in 1996, there was much discussion about
whether those who had bought the Myto needed to upgrade to the Calig.
Some rmcr commentators claimed the audible differences to be minor; having
listened to both, I disagreed. IMO, the Calig is worth it, if you can find
it. Good luck.
