Elizabeth:

I would be more than happy to help any newcomers. In fact, I am rooming
with an undergrad from Penn who will be attending for the first time.
We are staying in Skeekonk, Mass (about 10 mins from Providence) but
will have our own transportation. We are driving from Philly! My info:

Benjamin Pykles
3rd year PhD at UPenn
Historical Archaeology of the American West (particularly the Great
Basin region)

This is a great idea. I remember my first SHAs--a little intimidating
at times. Hopefully this program will help others be more comfortable
and secure their enduring membership in the SHA. Talk to you soon.
