Many thanks for this. I sometimes dream of building a website to honour
J.R.R. Tolkein, Birmingham-born misogynist author of a famous trilogy.
There would, of course, be links to many websites dedicated to the
scholar and storyteller, J.R.R. Tolkien, with whom he is so often
confused.

On an on-topic matter: the Archaeology Data Service in the UK has just
launched ARCHway - an online searchable database of archaeology journals
held in 20 UK institutions. There are also citation indexes to some of
the journals.

Some of the libraries offer photocopying services.

Best wishes to all,

Pat
(Good stuff, the ADS - just a shame they didn't offer me a job!)
