Doesn't appear as though brother Schuyler has
gotten the point as yet. Not yet a dead horse
by any means.
I've bitten the bullet and bought the latest
version of GPSY. I'd tried to upload
waypoints into the Garmin 48 and without
registration, it's disabled. However, did
discover that the waypoint list is fully
editable, in effect one does a "save as" by
selecting a particular waypoint, editing the
name and UTM coords and it enters the new wpt
into the list.
I'm going out onto the Huguenot and Coal mine
site to see if what I'd earlier called a
Bloomery site (based on Tom Brady's look at
the site and the slag) was really a bloomery
or was more likely to be a clinker site from
the steam engines. In the jungle and miasma
of last week's 90° heat and humiture index of
110°+, I couldn't re-locate it off the USGS.
