Position Opening - Archaeologist/Senior Archaeologist - TRC Garrow Durham
(NC) office

TRC Garrow Associates has an immediate opening for a management-level
Archaeologist or Senior Archaeologist in its Durham (NC) office. We seek an
individual with an advanced degree (MA, ABD, PHD) and supervisory experience
to work as a Field Director/Principal Investigator on projects throughout
the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, handling all tasks from proposal
through report production. The job requires residence in the Durham area and
willingness and availability to travel for extended periods of time. The
position is full time permanent with 401(k), medical and dental benefits,
and paid vacation. Salary range is from $30K to $45K, depending on
experience.

Applicants should have extensive field, lab, and analytical experience,
including time spent in supervisory roles, and experience and demonstrated
ability with large-scale writing projects. We expect and train our
management staff to quickly become familiar and successful with all aspects
of the business, from effective fiscal and personnel management, to
marketing and managing a diverse client base, to dealing with the
appropriate federal and state regulations and negotiating agreements and
contracts.
