Dear List Members attending the SHAs in Providence:
Please don't forget that the annual SHA Awards Ceremony will follow the banquet
and precede the dance at the meetings in Providence. If you haven't signed up
for the banquet (Friday evening, Jan. 17), do consider coming to the Awards
Ceremony after the banquet winds up, around 9 p.m. We are putting out extra
chairs so everyone can attend.
Here's a list of the awards for 2003--one of which has not yet been announced on
the list. That is the John L. Cotter Award for 2003, which will be presented to
Dr. Timothy J. Scarlett. Congratulations Tim! I hope all of you will come to
applaud Tim's accomplishments and to honor all of our awardees! And then boogie
on down at the dance!
