They are talking about DARK HONEY, not honey dew!

Much has been said about the almost black buckwheat honey, which I sell, but
don't
care for myself.

My personal favorite honey is a DARK honey with a red caste in the sunlight -
tulip
poplar.

I my experience, the great majority of beekeepers prefer the darker honeys
for their eating, while casual honey eaters usually want a light honey like
clover or black locust, something that is just 'sweet" without a lot of honey
flavor.
