A couple of weeks ago, I asked a question about the best lens to use
for bee photography on a Pentax SLR system.

This is a challenge to anyone who's followed the discussion that
followed - which has been astounding - to attempt a summary.
Perhaps this can be divided into two main areas: SLR (traditional) and
digital. Perhaps the assumption should be that a person wants to
stick with one of the two choices, but needs to know exactly what the
other one offers. This suggests a kind of pro and con list for each
choice.
