Re:  the Korngold Violin Concerto - Brendan Carroll (author of "The Last
Prodigy - a Biography of Erich Wolgang Korngold") considers the Heifitz
recording (with Wallenstein and the LA Philh.) definitive.  You might
also give a listen to the Perlman/Previn/Pittsburg recording.

Caroll considers the Toscha Seidel/Korngold rendition of the chamber
version of the "Much Ado About Nothing Suite" definitive.  It was
originally recorded in 1941 by RCA but apparently never released by
them, but has now been released as part of a Biddulph CD (LAB 138).
