Hi to all on Bee-L
I am finding this discussion of salvaging wax and honey
very good. However, I do have a question I hope someone can
help me with.
I now what pretty wax is to look at. I also know that many
beekeepers consider the lighter the color the wax when
processed, the cleaner it is.
But is this so, and is this true?
Is pretty yellow and whiter wax really clean or just
pretty. Could it be that residue wax is really cleaner,
though darker looking at times?
How would one rate clean as chemical or residue clean vs
clean by nice looks? and How should the difference be rated
for marketing?
How does one salvage clean wax then that is pretty and
residue clean also? Is anyone doing this?
How is apistan and coumaphous gotten out, or anything else
for that matter? What are some of you doing for this
problem or aren't you?
Just curious.
Regards,
Dee A. Lusby
