Preferring to give the said beekeeper the benefit of the doubt - Lime
(Linden) honey produced from Tilia sp. does have a minty taste and aroma
that is quite strong.
What appearance did the honey show - granulated (fine/ coarse), colour?
What did the label describe the honey as?
