I spoke with Peter Bleed at the university this morning, and he is
forwarding all messages recieved from HISTARCH subscribers to the
journalist through his campus media specialists. Since I understand
it is to be a feature story, there is no print deadline, and it could
take a while to develop...if it ever does appear in print (no
guarantee the Wall Street Journal will run with it). Be assured,
however, that I will post a message to HISTARCH if the story ever gets
printed. This could end up being one of those rare instances where a
relatively minor incident (about 30 bottles, all of which have been
recovered), ends up getting a lot of negative publicity for the
recreational looters.
Thanks to all of you who have sent us relevant information (we've
already received about a dozen messages on point). I'll be happy to
keep everyone informed about the outcome.

I'm sure many people on the list would be interested in the final Wall
Street Journal story. Could you keep us apprised of when it is published,
and maybe a URL for it?
Thanks!
