I am trying to find a reference to an agreement worked out between a military
base in Arizona and Greenpeace regarding preservation of open space around
the base perimeter. This has applications to many areas and to archaeological
site preservation elsewhere. An article appeared in an Arizona paper last year
(Republic ? Sun ?) concerning this. It provided economic incentives for
landowners to leave open space undeveloped and more secure adjacent to such
bases. Can any of you Arizonans help me with this?
