A Winterthur Museum publication titled Decorative Arts and Household
Furnishings in America: 1650-1920 edited by Kenneth L. Ames and Gerald W.
R. Ward contains 22 annotated bibliographies on various types of material
culture, including bibs on American, Chinese, European, and English
Ceramics and one on American glass. This book was published in 1989, is it
is getting a bit dated, but the annotations help in selecting books to go
after. The book was listed on the Hamilton book list recently at a
discounted price. Try EdwardRHamilton.com.

The Chipstone Foundation's journal Ceramics in America publishes an
annual bibliography of all ceramics publications compiled by Amy C. Earls.
The ceramics bib in the Ceramics in America 2001 is 13 pages long and
provides an excellent opportunity to keep up on what is being published.
The journal also has book reviews of some of the more important ceramics
publications. It is available at a discount from Amazon.com.
