Martin Anderson say ...

A pet idea I have dreamed of, related to your project, is that a "recording"
might be much more: consider packing a great deal of information on the
disk (DVD technology), including the score of the music, video interviews
with the performers, critical analysis of the music, and musico-genealogical
information about the composer and the performers (who they studied with
and who their teachers and their teachers' teachers studied with). Then,
instead hoping to sell many copies at a low price, sell a few copies at a
high price, to libraries and collectors. In the USA, this would naturally
be a "non-profit organization", and then foundations would be a source of
support in addition to sales.
