I'm a relatively quiet listmember among those who do post and I am grateful
for the great amount of time Dave invests and has invested in the list in
general, and specifically for editing my own sometimes childish posts (when
I was new about 5 years ago) and more recently, fixing my formatting and
simple things like adding my name or such when I forget. So I would like
to wholeheartedly thank him for his efforts.
Regarding Dave's posts as a member, I always find his posts eye-opening,
showing how well he is suited to the task of moderator, since he is so
frequently the voice of both objectivity and tolerance. And sometimes I
agree with him, sometimes I disagree, and sometimes he changes my mind.
And how often do we let anyone but ourselves do the latter?
I am not a representative of Dave Lampson and I have not been solicited to
make this post.:)

[Thanks, Michael. And that transfer to the account in the Caymans
has been made we discussed. :-) -Dave]
