You weren't exactly a CM newbie anymore when you adopted the *totally
random purchase* strategy, though, were you?
I've just started entering the pop/rock side of the music world, myself
(well, at least reentering after a decade out in the CM wilderness). I'd
have been one unhappy camper if I'd gone the willy-nilly route. Luckily I
did some library pre-sampling, else I may have just retreated back out into
the CM wild!
