An interesting article in today's New York Times about Hummel strongly
recommends Constance Keene's new 3CD set of his 9 piano sonatas on the
Newport Classics label.  I heard one of them on the radio recently. It
was so terriffic I bought Volume 1.  Great playing from Keene, a neat,
unpretentious production, engaging and informative liner notes, too.
