The "creamery" I know of was behind the main house in Wading River, Long
Island, NY on Wading River Road that belongs to a historical archaeologist,
Gaynell Stone, Ph.D. and was associated with butter production. Perhaps a
"nostalgia" type term applied to the roadside in some other cases not
directly associated with milk production activities.
