hello
with fenugreek, there is no contraindication with this and meds for HTN. HOwever, there is speculation since fenugreekis a muclagionous herb, that it may slow the absorption of drugs via the GI tract.
THe medications that fenugreek needs to be used with caution is those that moderate blood glucose levels, mainly insulin. Fenugreek might aught to be watched with those new cholesterol lowering drugs. This is just my opinion ONLY. As the idea that fenugreek also lowers cholesterol levels as well as those glucose levels.
There is a great little book by DR. Francis Brinker , Herb Contraindications, Drug interactions,
from Eclectic Medical Publications 1998
