POSITION OPENING
ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIAN

The Louis Berger Group, Inc., (Berger), is seeking an Architectural
Historian/Historian to fill an immediate position opening in our Midwest Regional
Office located in Marion, Iowa.  Primary responsibilities include planning and
execution of research and reporting for architectural identification, evaluation, and
recordation projects.

Qualified applicants must have at least one year professional experience in field
survey and National Register evaluation of architectural resources, preferably in the
context of Section 106 compliance, and the ability to use a 35 mm camera.  A
graduate degree in Architectural History, History or Historic Preservation is
required.  Strong research and writing skills required; knowledge of the history and
architecture of the Midwest/Central Plains region is highly desirable.

Competitive salaries are negotiable based on experience. Full benefits package
includes vacation, sick leave, holidays, medical/dental (free to employee),
life/disability insurance, 401K, etc.  This is a full-time, salaried position, not a
project appointment.  The successful applicant must relocate to the Marion/Cedar
Rapids metropolitan area and will be expected to travel for project assignments.
